Though I am not one among them who faced the consequences of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, but I am here to express my view as regards this incident. This is one of the most horrible incidents took place in the current time. The spill of the crude oil in the Gulf waters has not only shown a bad effect on the sea life but has also caused loss to many business sectors such as the commercial fishing, sea food and the oyster industry, bars and restaurants and even some of the rental properties.
Because of this, many have lost their employment due to the losses occurred to the industries. This in turn, has resulted in the rise of the prices of seafood and even the import prices have gone up. The government and the company made many efforts and succeeded in removing the oil from the Gulf waters. The company even provided assistance to all those who suffered heavy losses and damage by way of bp claims but still the same condition is likely to go on for few more years.
